What made me to think of Solar Power Generator?
Frequently we had power cut from BESCOM, monitoring whether DG is started or not was becoming a difficult task on non-working days.
Followup with task management of power failure on the UPS.
Step wise actions taken to get the Solar Power Generator
Spoke to some of the vendors who have done the project, got the idea and implemented.
1. prepared a data sheet of consumption pattern of power from grid
2. shared the data with vendors
3. summarized the suggestion from vendors
4. escalated the requirement to top management , explained advantages / disadvantages with data , ROI etc..
5. had a couple round of discussions with vendor before finalizing the commercial terms
6. got approval of the project and implemented
Wrong steps taken in calculation of the self consumption of the Generator.
due to this wrong step, home consumption of the generator,system use to fail when there was higher load,
later distributed the load of Air Conditioners separately, problem got solved.
Whether Roof Top solar is yielding ROI as per requirement?
Rather than looking the ROI, as a major requirement,
We can happily say self generation of eco-friendly power is a major ROI with min. transmission loss.
Further to summarize on self generation of power from solar, I am working on a project which is eco-friendly
using natural resources in plenty.
